This site shows
things that I am interested in.
Since moving to Derbyshire many years ago, I have had two jobs. One was working at Wyevale Garden Center at Findern. The other is Working at Toyota at Burnaston. Both places are just South of Derby.
I had always been a keen
Gardener, so working at a Wyevale Garden Center was quite good for me. Later
while working at Toyota, I have been able to give gardening advice to two of the members. And they took design ideas I gave
them, and went home and redesigned their gardens.
Golf has been my main
passion for about 8 years now. At first I found it hard just to get under 100, but I now
have a good handicap of 16, which I am sure will soon come down to a more realistic
12, if
I play more competitions. I am a member of a golf society the
Trent Lock Chippers. Who play every Sunday morning weather permitting,
at Trent Lock
GC, near Sawley, Notts. I
Computing is my main hobby after golf. From time to time I come across problems, such as the scanner not working or not being able to over write a previous upload. And I find it a challenge to get things to work, even though sometimes it means ringing or asking friends for help. I have two web sites, this one and www.foxyjunior.freeserve.co.uk This one is more Gardening and Holidays. Were the other is more Golfing.
I have put in a couple of pages
about holiday places I have visited, and other useful bits of information on these places.
The Norfolk page is about visits on and around the broads. And I have added a
Wales page. About visits to the Snowdonia area.
The York page is really York and Yorkshire, as I used to live in places in and around York. (Shiptonthorpe, Pocklington, Escrick, Acomb (York), Aislaby (Pickering)) And have visited most places in North Yorkshire and the East coast.
